Content Creation Case Study

Description

I was brought into Gallio for content creation - specifically to help create video content for Instagram reels and TikTok. I worked closely with the marketing team and the team on ground at the restaurant to create a social media content calendar and to shoot and edit the content.

Gallio then introduced a pizza making class which I suggested we promote via two influencer events. I did extensive research to source appropriate influencers, ensuring I selected influencers who’s content resonated with the Gallio brand. I then reached out to these influencers via email and coordinated all the details for the events.

We ran two separate events where the influencers came in with their +1 and got to experience the pizza making class.

The Results

Both influencer events went really well, everyone had a great time and enjoyed making their pizzas. Many of the influencers posted about the pizza making on their social media channels and it was great to see how everyone captured content to suit their style.

Two of the influencers’ videos went viral: Zoe’s (@hungry.buns) video on TikTok received over 900,000 views and Shan’s (@life_of_foods_) Instagram reel got over 950,000 views. As a result, the pizza making class was booked solid every weekend for the next couple of months. The phone was ringing off the hook at the restaurant and we received so much positive feedback about the pizza making class.

Secret London

Due to the popularity of the pizza making class, Secret London reached out to Gallio to feature it in one of their content series. A few members of the Secret London team came in to experience the class for themselves and posted about it on both Instagram and TikTok. Their TikTok video garnered over 1.4 million views and their Instagram Reel received 1.3 million views.

The pizza class is still one of Gallio’s most popular offerings to date and it was great seeing it become a success.
